Ray aka RAYO is our cutting edge future stud that will begin
contributing to our marble program summer 2008 and we can't
wait!!!!! He's a huge, very muscular boy at only 10 months of age
in these photos... if I didn't know better I'd swear he's straight from
the jungle.
Rayo has the complete package. FANTASTIC head! His profile is exquisite. Nose fantastic. Whiskerpads... stupendous. Rayo has very small ears that are well rounded and placed perfectly with a gorgeous backskull. He has solid boning, a looong slinky body, low slung tail, huge knuckles and a ALC carriage when he walks. Large rounded light amber eyes and he posesses a super super SUPER clear coat with extreme contrast to boot. I have to say that Rayo's coat is the tightest coat I've ever seen on a bengal.
Rayo has a quality to his coat that is somewhere between glitter and OH MY GOD! Julie Gracie Mosely of ZenDada, his breeder, has coined the term "LUMINOSI TY" for this coat quality. It is very rare with very few bengals in the world posessing this coat. Unfortunately it is so incredibly difficult to show in a photograph. It is MORE than glitter... much much more. He literally glows. Seeing Rayo in person explains it all and you won't soon forget his luminosity. This is a quality that I guarantee will be the future of bengal coats leaving glitter only cats far behind. It is a very stunning and unique feature that we are very proud to have here at Roman Bengals. Another unique feature is Rayo's embossed coat meaning that is black marbling pattern stands up higher than the rich pale gold ground color.

RAYO'S SHOW RESULTS:
I am no longer going to be showing Rayo as he prefers to be at home with his girls instead. He's been a perfect gentleman at the shows but I feel he's just too stressed to continue. He needs one more certificate for his Champion title in FIFe and we may decide one day to obtain this. We already know Rayo's a fabulous boy and he's stamping his great looks and personality on his kittens. Watch for them in the show ring starting April 2009.
